Cascade Mountain se dresse devant nous dans toute sa splendeur. Un mur de toute beaut\u00e9. Une petite cascade, d\u00e9licate, d\u00e9vale la roche. Je me souviens l&#8217;avoir d\u00e9j\u00e0 remarqu\u00e9e \u00e0 mon dernier voyage. Cette fois-ci, par contre, je remarque des gens \u00e0 mi hauteur. Je les montre \u00e0 Virginie. Comme d&#8217;habitude ; rien de tel que l&#8217;impr\u00e9vu pour programmer notre voyage. \u00ab On va voir ? \u00bb \u00ab Pourquoi pas ! \u00bb. Oui, le van m\u00e9rite toujours autant son nom.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font: 12.0px Helvetica\">On se gare sur le parking, et on attaque une mont\u00e9e assez raide. Tr\u00e8s rapidement, on retrouve le bas de la cascade. La vall\u00e9e s&#8217;\u00e9tend devant nous. Au premier plan, un \u00e9changeur routier des plus dommages. En m\u00eame temps, et c&#8217;est bien \u00e7a le probl\u00e8me : \u00e7a fait laid dans le paysage, mais \u00e7a nous permet de venir voir le paysage&#8230; on ne peut pas tout avoir. Et puis des paysages sans route, apr\u00e8s tout, on peut en voir plein en faisant un peu de marche.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font: 12.0px Helvetica; min-height: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"font: 12.0px Helvetica\">La cascade est une suite de petite chute. Chaque palier est un peu plus raide \u00e0 monter que le pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent. J&#8217;ai envie de continuer encore un peu, mais Virginie pr\u00e9f\u00e8re m&#8217;attendre. Je pars donc \u00e0 l&#8217;aventure tout seul, prudemment. Je monte encore deux paliers de la cascade. J&#8217;ai l&#8217;impression que je pourrais monter jusqu&#8217;en haut. Seul, c&#8217;est d\u00e9finitif, je ne le ferais pas. Si \u00e7a se trouve, m\u00eame en groupe je ne le ferais pas sans mat\u00e9riel. Je reste un moment \u00e0 regarder le paysage, avant de redescendre par un chemin qui semble plus simple. Plus simple, il l&#8217;est. Sauf la petite paroi de 5 ou 6 m\u00e8tres, humide, avec quasiment pas de prises. Je finirais les fesses mouill\u00e9es, mais ma descente aura \u00e9t\u00e9 parfaitement contr\u00f4l\u00e9e, lente, et s\u00e9curitaire. Je retrouve Virginie juste apr\u00e8s. \u00c0 c\u00f4t\u00e9, un couple de jeunes nous fait halluciner en buvant une bi\u00e8re et fumant un joint. Ce n&#8217;est tellement pas le genre de choses que je ferais dans ce genre de paysage ! Le paysage suffit \u00e0 me faire d\u00e9coller ; je n&#8217;ai besoin de rien d&#8217;autre. Et puis d&#8217;un c\u00f4t\u00e9 s\u00e9curit\u00e9, \u00eatre gel\u00e9 dans ce genre d&#8217;endroit&#8230; enfin&#8230; Darwin n&#8217;a pas invent\u00e9 la s\u00e9lection naturelle pour rien
