Le nom, \u00e0 priori, est du \u00e0 la forte pr\u00e9sence de Dolomites. Quand je vois \u00e9cris \u00ab dolomite \u00bb sur le panneau explicatif (qui dit parcs nationaux, dit f\u00e9d\u00e9ral, dit bilinguisme partout, m\u00eame sur les panneaux explicatifs des parcs &#8211; en m\u00eame temps, \u00ab dolomite \u00bb, j&#8217;ai v\u00e9rifi\u00e9, se dit \u00ab dolomite \u00bb en anglais) j&#8217;ai un flash sur mes cours de g\u00e9ologie de terminale, et sur mon prof que je n&#8217;aimais pas du tout. Dolomite, \u00e7a vient de Dolomieu. Oui, le tit village pas loin de l\u00e0 d&#8217;o\u00f9 ce que je viens. Je ne sais plus si c&#8217;est \u00e9galement le nom du g\u00e9ologue qui a d\u00e9couvert la dolomite, ou si c&#8217;est parce qu&#8217;il y a beaucoup de dolomite \u00e0 Dolomieu. Toujours est il que la dolomite est une roche ressemblant un peu au marbre (d&#8217;o\u00f9 le nom du Canyon) et que je trouve tr\u00e8s amusant de retrouver un bout de mon petit coin d&#8217;origine de l&#8217;autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 du monde.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font: 12.0px Helvetica\">La balade, \u00e0 nouveau, est magnifique. On part de la fin du canyon, au niveau de la rivi\u00e8re, que l&#8217;on remonte tranquillement. Les falaises sont de plus en plus hautes, de plus en plus \u00e9troites. Au point le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9, mais aussi le moins large, on a vraiment l&#8217;impression qu&#8217;il est possible de sauter d&#8217;un bord du canyon \u00e0 l&#8217;autre. Et puis finalement, celui-ci se termine, sur une magnifique cascade. Ici, le canyon n&#8217;a pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 creus\u00e9. Sur le bord du chemin, des panneaux explicatifs nous font remonter dans le temps. Le tout premier panneau indique o\u00f9 se trouvait la cascade il y a 17000 ans. Panneau apr\u00e8s panneau, le temps d\u00e9file. 14000, 11000, 8000, 5000&#8230; je suis relativement impressionn\u00e9 par la vitesse \u00e0 laquelle tout cela s&#8217;est fait.<\/p>\n<p>\n<a
