Dans la liste se trouve la ville fant\u00f4me de Bodie, qui a connu son apog\u00e9e \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9poque des chercheurs d&#8217;or. Il y a eut jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 10 000 habitants au plus haut de l&#8217;activit\u00e9 de la ville. Et puis finalement, les mines ont p\u00e9riclit\u00e9, un incendie \u00e0 rajouter une deuxi\u00e8me couche, et aujourd&#8217;hui il ne reste plus grand chose. J&#8217;ai d\u00e9pass\u00e9 le carrefour une dizaine de kilom\u00e8tres plus loin sans m&#8217;en rendre compte. Je fais donc demi tour, histoire de revenir sur mes pas, et prendre une petite bifurcation qui m&#8217;emm\u00e8nera au milieu de nul part. 12 kilom\u00e8tres de route asphalt\u00e9e, puis 5 de route en gravel et dans un sale \u00e9tat. Moi qui pensait avoir finit de maltrait\u00e9 Pourquoi Pas ?, il semblerait que ce ne soit pas son jour.
